Do we need/want a 4th CO?
Some discussion with some other members have made me decide to resurrect this question.
Mid-A let this be your chance to dictate how the future of Mid-A goes.
I hope everyone votes, from the person that wants a s2000 to the person that has been active since the first s2000 rolled off the line.
If the CO's feel that this should be locked please do so.
Richmond VA - Would cover everything where Sova ends and NoVa start.
Southern MD - is Baltimore to DC while NoMD covers Baltimore to PA.

I voted "Yes, we need one for another region (Please post where)" because we need CO's to cover wherever CO's are needed to cover.
We have had a lot of talent drop away in the last year or so because the were "too busy." If this is in fact the case, we should have as many as it takes to keep that from happening.
Obviously we need a CO now for NoVA but I want to make sure that Brain and Bear (and, of course the new NoVA CO) are covered before they feel it is necessary to walk away.

I voted for SoMD because i find that if MD was split between two CO's we could possibly get some more activity in the lower regions. I find a lot of potential along the Rt 100 area or down in the ft Md or silver spring area.
Brian (Oturn) is not down in the SoMD area so he would not know where the members are located.

I voted for "Yes, we need one for another region (Please post where)" to cover the area between NOVA and Richmond.
Manassas area is an example, we know of some owners around that area. PTUNING is there too. It will give members/owners/enthusiasts another reason to be interested in meets.

I think it's important to note that by "Southern Maryland" you mean the area BETWEEN Baltimore and DC. Because there is a recognized geographic region CALLED "Southern Maryland" that includes places like Waldorf, La Plata, Hollywood, etc. and there aren't very many members from that area.
I revised my first posting to reflect that.
