Default Does your top leak?

I drove today and noticed the anoying drip drip of a leak, has anyone else experienced this. Could this be related to any TSB's on the top? It leaks just sitting still and it was not really raining that hard either.

I have also had a leak in the same area, but only after making th mistake of taking the car through a touch-less carwash to get rid of road salt. I HAVEN'T noticed it in the rain though.

I have this sometimes with both windows. I especially hate how much water POURS in with the window down even the slightest bit in stop-and-go traffic or at a light. It sucks.

Mine does it as well, but only when I open the doors. Then there is a huge down fall that just falls onto the outer side of the seats.

Is this cover under the warranty to be fixed or are we just stuck w/ this problem???

I think it'd be a warranty item if there was technically something wrong with the seal/door... I think it's just a design issue/common convertible problem. Maybe one of our Honda Specialists can research it for us

I'm reading all this ...and surely ya'll are speaking of leaks where indicated in the pic when the window's are down, right??? If you're talking about windows UP and leaking there...well, no problems here thankfully.

But if ya'll are talking about leaks here when the windows are up...then surely there is a warranty issue here . Hmmm...

But one thing we've discussed on this board before (and again, what you might be referring to here as well) is that with the slightest drop of the window, water not only pours in at that area, but I personally love how it drops....

.... RIGHT ON MY POWER WINDOWS BUTTONS!!!!

Mine, oddly enough :knock on wood: , doesn't leak except under high pressure like the hose or touchless carwash (i know, i know shhh). I was very worried about this when I got the car, because of some complaints i'd read on the board. Have you tried using some silicon lubricant on those seals? Maybe you just need to be greased up, lubed and ready for action

Wingman: definitely when the window is down the slightest bit, it pours right in on the buttons (and my leg, usually). But I do find the windows leaking the slightest bit (a drip or two, not a stream) when the windows are up.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it might be most noticable once the door has been opened and closed, as some water is "trapped" between the window and seal and it just eventually drips down the inside of the window.

TepEvan: True, some shin-etsu grease might help. Anyone gone through replacing all their top seals? I know it's going to need to be done at SOME point (52k miles, 3 yrs on mine). Probably around 80k/5yr...
