Skip,

I havent already posted in this thread cause there isnt much that I can say that hasnt already been said. You were a great C.O. and are an even better friend. You and _+1 have been more than welcoming to myself over the past 7 months that I've known you. You will truly be missed as a C.O., but I know truthfully you arent going anywhere as an active member in the Mid-A Community.

The above is not why I'm stepping down. I'm stepping down because I do not want to be part of a potentially downward-spiralling entity. At the pace the Mid-A is going, the few will manage to drive off the many. What happened to common courtesy? What happened to civility? What happened to helping others out?

I am in no way unappreciative of the recent jesture by Eric(E-Heezy). My wife and I were moved to tears by the thought... not by the result of that jesture. Janet and I have what we would call "friends," not just acquaintenances, that have been made and developed through this car- this site.

Janet and I are the same people with or without some title. We still love to have fun, drink, drive- not simultaneously though, don't want to spill it. I feel that I have helped all those who have asked for help whether it be with an incident on the board or help with the car. And was glad to do so. I hope more folks continue this spirit as Revenuer did.

Lastly, I tried never to post anywhere on the board in such a manner as to embarass the Mid-A. I always wanted others to think we had a pretty good group. I'll still be on the board. Just don't be shocked when I no longer bite my tongue.

Skip
aka, Crash
I used the word "potentially." I would never bail just because I thought a ship was going down. I'm not that guy. I apologize if I gave anyone that impression. I was fed up with many on the board(not just Mid-A'ers), getting sick, and of course the headache that is my car.

After stepping back, I really wanted to express just how much joy we have derived from this community. But I can't. Even if I could, no one likes to read long posts. As a society we have been reduced to HeadlineNews. Let it be known that the very good far outweigh all of the cumulative bad. I know there are too many of you good folk to ever let this area's community wander in a valley for too long.

It is not my nature to be "hard" or disrespectfully blunt. I prefer to joke, help, laugh. I'd like to turn over a new leaf... a fresh start with all. And I mean ALL. For as long as I have the S, I'd like to be considered an asset to the community. As long as we're here stateside, we'll continue to participate. I'm looking forward to a super end to this year and an even greater next year.

I guess alienating a friend and seeing a new owner last night(two separate occurrences) snapped me out of my daze. I owe so much to you all.
