Default Finally got my 02 s2k

Nice car overall. I had doubts about the torque, but it's not bad. Picks up pretty good. One thing I did notice was the gas mileage. I'm not getting anywhere close to 20/25 as advertised, and this is with NORMAL driving. Other than that, I'm happy with it so far. Get a lot of looks though. Maybe that's good , or bad?

Anyway, where's a good place to get some cheap/quality parts?

you need to learn to be a sniper on the For Sale forum. you will find the best deals you can over there

if it's something you really want to buy brand new, go to the Sponsor Group Buys/Promotions forum

Good choice on year. I also have a 2002 Sebring Silver with black interior!

I get average of 26.0 mpg commuting to work and 30-32 on the highway if I stay out of VTEC. In normal driving I shift at 4K rpms gears 1-4 and 3.5K from 4-6. I don't give more than 50% throttle when normal accelerating. I've found you have to drive like a granny to get the gas mileage I do. If I start throwing it past 6K rpms or giving it higher % throttle and I get low 20's.

i think i'm getting about ~200 miles per tank? that's really really low and i don't even hit vtec that many times. maybe a few times a tank when i need to pass someone.

i'm planning on getting sportbike next year. *keeping my fingers crossed* Hopefully I'll get better gas milage on the bike.

I'm getting about 200-210 as well and I don't hit vtec much at all. It's amazing how people are getting 260-270 =x. Also nice car =)
