My boss promised me a commission if I find a local buyer for this. He upgraded to the 20D and I will attest peronally that this camera is immaculate. I really could use the cash. And besides, if you guys want photos like we've been seeing on here lately--this is where to start. It is the body only so you will need a lens. We would be happy to help you pick one out based on your needs and budget.

You may contact him directly with inquiries or go through me via this thread or PM.

It's going to be a tough sale since a brand new Rebel XT doesn't cost a whole lot more than that, and it outperforms it in almost every metric.

Jeremy,
I'll pass this info. along to him. I haven't kept up with specs and such since I bought my own Rebel. I do know he checked out how much they were going for on eBay though.

Thanks,
Aaron

I'm interested, but it would only be for the price. You can pick up a new XT body for only $110 more then get a decent lens for another $150 to have something that absolutely blows the 10D out of the water.

I really want the 20D (and am saving my pennies), but if your boss is willing to part for less I can settle for the 10D.

Like I said.. I'll check with him on the price. Today is a holiday for us so I will see him tomorrow. Meanwhile, I look like an idiot.

No - you don't look like an idiot - you're trying to help him

That price would have been a decent one before the 10D was so outdated by the Rebel XT (you don't even see the 10D advertised anymore). The other side to the coin is you can get a new 20D body for $1,029 plus $60 shipping from numerous places - so - for another $400 you can buy a new camera that has much more quality and function.

I'd still like to talk about the 10D, but only if your boss is much more willing to lower his price.

Yeah if the price came down I might be interested as well, but as others have said, I'd rather cough up the extra 125 and get a lense and brand new camera for that price

Let us know if he brings the price down, if its significant enough I might buy it and come pick it up

Aaron,

If you get time, ask them if they are interested at $585.
