With everyone talking about tracking now I'd think that rollbar would be gone soon. Good luck with the sale of everything. Where do you put those "windmasters" and what do they do?

Yeah, I don't doubt the rollbar will be gone soon. I want to go with a 5 or 6point. Windmasters were purchased by a friend of mine that just got stationed in Japan. He's in the military. They go in your fender well. Allows air to flow through to your brakes to cool them down.

Is the rollbar acceptable for tracking? Yea..its a newb question, but I know little about rollbar configuration and where there are specific criteria (like helmets) that make it acceptable for the track?

What's the install like on one of these babies? Cutting? Welding? Bolting?

yes it is. as far as installtion, it looks like you just have to drill through your floor board.

here's a link to a write up some guy did

Steve, you can use that bar for NASA events and most others. It will not pass any SCCA specs. That said, SCCA now has a program that allows for the use of factory hardtops(not aftermarket ones) in place of a bar for the first two levels of that event(HPDE/TT type). NASA requires a bar with or without the hardtop.

The install is simple and only requires cutting or removing the softtop tray. Of course drilling is required, however, there are no plastic trim pieces to cut with this bar.

That is the same bar that is currently installed in my car. I'd be happy to show you what is involved on Saturday.

I was very fortunately to have Skip to do the install. He had previously installed it in his car. That knowledge (along with some pointers from George) made it VERY easy for he and I (mostly he) to do the work.

The fuel pressure gauge goes on the fuel rail right?

If so I'll take the gauge.

I'll take the hondata gasket either way though....

Yes it does. I'll put them both pending to you Tony.

Thanks for the info on the roll bar fellers.
