Before it goes public I am going to go ahead and make a statement here.

Quality & Condition of the OEM Berlina hood has a huge part to play in this exchange. I do understand that some of your names are up top on this "dibs list". However in all honesty, it would make no sense for me to pass up a good quality hood and take one that I am going to possibly need repainted.
Due to Tony (brerspidur) having an emmaculate hood that has only been used for a very short time and being interested in my Seibon Style CF Hood I have sent a PM to Dan telling him that I will be doing the exchange with Tony.

I have asked my friend with a "higher quality" digital camera to come over tonight to take pictures of my hood - to allow Tony to see the quality of the hood. From that point he can make his decision if he wishes to trade.

To anyone I may have upset with this thread, I do publically apologize. An offer of "exchange your oem hood for a carbon fiber hood free" doesn't come around very often. But since I am offering such a great deal, the least I can do is be picky about which hood I take, right?

thanks for the lead on
Last time I checked I didn't know it was my job to keep you updated on every single decision I've ever made. However, I did think I made it very clear in my previous PM that I will be doing the exchange with Tony. Somewhere around when I said

Dan, bro I am all about helping people out. But you need to understand I am practically giving away an aftermarket hood. The least I can do is ask for my trade to be in great condition.
If you had a car that you were thinking about getting rid of - and one of your friends say "if you do, i'd be interested". Then you say "yeah man, I am geting rid of it for $xxxx." They reply "okay, let me think about it.". Then another person comes up & says, "heck yeah man, i'll give you $xxxx + $xxxx for it!". Wouldn't you sell it to the better bid?
Sorry man, I gotta take the better offer. The guy who is certain he wants it.
Something about that "Sorry man, I gotta take the better offer." I thought made it very clear.

Dan if you are going to get upset and pissy then by all means that is fine. I did state in this thread that I would give you first dibs on the hood and I do understand that your hood is in good condition. However :
New Condition > Good Condition

You can say all you want, "I can't believe you are doing this to a claimed friend." However, sales/trades/purchases are a business transaction, friendship aside.

As well, you can think that I am being very dickhead about this. Though I did not come across this resolution on my own, I infact did ask quite a few other members their opinions on this and they all stated pretty much the same thing, "business is business, take the excellent hood."
