Do these events have to be on sponsor soil? I have an opportunity to get a really good Emanage Ultimate tuner down from new england and have shops bays and dyno that could be used, of course along with a bbq and social event.

The Pool will be open in April and available all summer.

As in the past, I can have a mod day (did I just type that ) again and/or BBQ/pool party/drive.

It's great to see some activity in the MID-A area. I'm somewhat new and have never been to a meet as of yet. If I can come up with some suggestions I will definitely chime in. Hope to meet some of you s2ker's soon.

Mike.

Steve, we definitely appreciate it! I'm sure at the Dragon in April I'll be speaking with you. Hoping that, depending on your schedule we can arrange another Maryland Mod Day in August!

Really looking forward to this year... looks like we'll have lots of stuff to do

IMO large meets are all well and good and the COs should plan for those, but like Jeff said, we can and should also have smaller more local HHs or dinner/lunch meets. I think those do a good job of filling in the gaps between larger meets.

That being said, can't wait to see this meet at Inline... its sounding like its going to turn out pretty nicely.

Bailey's Pub and Grille in Ballston Commons (Arlington) is a good NOVA meeting spot/sports bar for HH or pool or whatever, since it is large and has ample parking in the garage. That's where some of us met Ev (wantone) when he came back for a visit. And they had a really yummy free fajita bar that evening. Keep it in mind for a regular meeting place. I'm sure there are others people can suggest.

How about a picnic/BBQ at the park we go to after the Wash N Wax? I don't know what the park is called, but it's S2K friendly.

The schedule sounds like it's starting to fill up.

I wanted to explore using that for a MEGA meet near labor day this year...
