sorry I forgot to mention the vafc, but yeah thats about all it does, that i know of. But I leave that stuff to Inline

How much is a 2.2L for just the engine? Just curious.

I would guess that a 2.2L run to 9k too many times will look just like the one you are taking out of your car..... probably a reason Honda dropped the redline down to 8000....

they dropped the redline because the bigger displacement motor loses power sooner. not because of any excess mechanical stress. i think the only thing one would have to do to rev an F22 to 9k would be to swap the valvetrain (i think). but again, the power loss would probably make it slower than just shifting back to 6k.

a few people have been running 01 ecu's because of the fact that they run richer from factory, no probs ive heard of as of yet

I understand what you're talking about. You're talking about the actual weight of the valvetrain, right? If you change to Ti, then you'll be having to replace them between 15-20k miles. billman seems pretty keen on using AP2 retainers on AP1 heads.

Even though I can go to nine, I doubt I will. The power peak is at around 8, so the highest I will go is 8500, if that . I don't need this happening agian!
