i think one reason for the lower redline is bc of an increased stoke. they increased the displacement by increasing the stroke and not the bore. this results in higher piston speeds. they wanted to keep the piston speeds in check so they lowered the redline.

well the swap is all done, it put down 211 whp and 145 ft/lbs
