A lot of shops will refuse to install a testpipe on a registered street car. It is an easy install:

1) Jack up car and place on jackstands

2) loosen the 02 sensor (do not remove at this point)

3) remove the two bolts that connect the cat to the header

4) remove the 3 bolts that connect the cat to the catback exhaust

5) rotate the cat to remove the 02 sensor (avoid twisting the wire)

6) install the Testpipe by reversing this (use the mech 02 cheat to avoid CEL)

cant' believe you're actually willing to take it to a shop to install a test pipe.. ... it's one of the easiest installs you can do on a car

You have to remember that most people take their cars to the shop just to have oil changed, much less do test pipe installs.
