Default Got in a accident and I need help!

Hello all, I my S just spun out 3 days ago, due to my own fault for not getting new tires. I took my car to a alignment place to see if it might just be an alignment, but they said it looks like either my strut or LCA is bent. I have a burning rubber smell coming as well. Just wanted to know where I might be able to get help so that I can get my car up and running ASAP. My S is my daily driver, and I would need it to take the least ammount of time. I'm also on a budget b/c I'm in the Marine Corp, any help in the local DC area would be greatly appriciated!

BTW I also have 2 bent Volk GT-7's, if anyone knows where I might be able to get them repaired for a good price that would help out a lot too! Thanks everyone.

Where are you located? Struts or LCA could be replaced by just about any mechanic IMO. If you want to do it yourself, either part should be pretty easy to DIY.

LCA is 3 bolts and a ball joint, strut is 3 bolts. easy.

Yeah, I would, but I'm based in southeast dc @ the Marine Barracks, were not allowed to work on cars on base. I also just had back surgery so I'm not supposed to do any kind of labor...thanks though. But I'll try to get someone to look at it and see if I can find out what exactly is the problem and replace it.

My bro in law was based there and would be pissed if I didn't offer to help, so let me know if I can do anything to give you a hand.

for wheel repairs, I've used Ye Olde Wheel Repair here in Maryland, did a great job on the wheels I've sent them, some BBS's I had on my last car.

Ye Olde Wheel Shop
6363 Washington Blvd.
Elkridge, MD 21227
410-796-8400
800-526-8260

Bit of a hike, but still local enough to drive up there.

If you smell burning rubber and the cause isn't immediately obvious as the tire, try checking the temps of your discs... a seized caliper will cook the rubber boots in a short time and they smell horrible.

I finally caved in and decieded to put it in to Landmark Honda. Hopefully it's just an alignment, but I wont find out until later on today. Thank God for Military discounts. Anyways, when I get the car back I'll start looking into getting the wheels fixed, still looking for more shop! Thanks everyone for all your help!

BTW: I called Ye Old Wheel Shop, and they said that they are backed up pretty bad, and turn around time is going to be 5 weeks So if anyone else has any suggestions please let me know!
