Default got rearended

One of my co-worker backed into my car today and didn't realize it. I saw the damage after lunch and almost

I remembered the aforementioned co-worker had parked behind me (I realized it happened at the office when I saw all the broken plastic from my driverside tail light on the ground in my parking spot). I walked up to his car and there was black paint on his bumper (my car is berlina). I then backed my car up to his bumper (Ford F-150) and the damage lined up perfectly.

I then confronted my co-worker. We went outside, and I showed him what I saw. He was very apologetic, and offered to pay for the damage.

I am happy I do not have to go through my insurance and pay a deductible. But I am bummed that it was a co-worker (whom I actually like and is a decent person) that hit my car. I was not looking forward to going into the office and asking this guy if he hit my car. All in all, it will work out, and I won't have to pay for anything.

I guess it could be allot worse, and for that I am grateful.

Sorry for the long post. I needed to vent.

Definite bummer... But better that you're able to resolve than it be a "hit-n-run" kind of thing. Way too many testimonials can be offered here of folks finding their cars banged with no note left behind, etc.

Good detective work on your own part . And decent of the co-worker to make amends.

Keep in mind...these things happen. And when they're done without prejudice and accidentally, well, its just something we must all strive to accept without too much anger. Especially when its repairable .

just because he is a co worker, you may want to have him sign something. Remember things for the S is usually pretty expensive.

Other than that, sorry to hear about the misfortune.

Shittles, sorry to hear that happened bro. But definitely glad to see you were able to work it out. Let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Sorry to hear about that man, but as Tom said, it might be a good idea to get some sort of document signed by him that he's responsible for the incident and he'll take care of it. You don't want him to think its just a Honda and will be cheap to fix, and when he sees the estimate he backs out because its too much...

I don't know the guy thats why I think this might be the safe route...

Good luck with the repairs
