Sorry to hear what happened to your S but glad to know you and your friend are ok from this. Like some had mentioned this could be a cause of mechanical failure or hydroplane.

Hope your insurance will make this as painless as possible for you.

Hey Mo. I actually might sell mine sooner or later. 2004 with 60ish thousand miles. Rio yellow. I'm local too if you're interested.

As I told you on Wed bro, I'm so glad no one was hurt. You know I'm here for you. We'll help you the way you've always been there to help any of us.

Another reminder that summer tires in cold and damp conditions are a dangerous combo. Had some Nitto Extremes summer tires fish-tail on me a while back going 25mph on Georgetown Pike near Great Falls in similar condition. Luckily, I recovered the car but was extra careful for the remaining 35 miles home.

Damn Mo! I run away from my life for a week and come back to this!! I'm so sorry! I know how bad this sucks, especially when you really care and take care of your care. I had it happen to my celica. But at least your ok. In my case I was beaten up 20 ways to Sunday. But dont let your Ins company try to screw you over on the payout because they will try. The guy that took me out when I was in my celica had no ins so mine had to payout for my car and they really tried to stick it to me. It was awful. I hate statefarm because of that. Bastards.
