Yeah somewhere around page 17 or 18 they say the thread has had 42,000 views and hundreds of new people register just to give Charlie crap.

It's over 650,000 views, I think. And when they said that, 14,000 was looking *at that moment*.

I've read enough of that thread to know it wasn't a POS Kodak camera.
Ah, the Kodak. Our inside joke.

In brief:

1) Wenzel posts that "brand new gears" are for sale for $100.
2) I think it was a Matt... he sent the payment to him.
3) Wenzel changes his price to 125, and refuses to send the gears unless he is paid extra.
4) Refund request is made. Wenzel refuses to send the money back.
5) Wenzel is politely but sternly asked to return his money.
6) Wenzel and the other pirate folk go back and forth insulting each other, etc. It is revealed that the gears are actually used.
7) One of the mods who works at a law firm gives a stern warning.
8) Wenzel mails out a package and provides the (false?) packing number
9) Matt refuses delivery, tells him he wants the MONEY back
10) A lot about his identity, including pictures, his mother, father, etc, his address, cell phone numbers are revealed by various members of the board.
11) A check is sent. I don't know what happened to that, or whether it really got sent. This was up to around page 20, I think.

That's all I remember.

There are way more than 20 pages. His story has hit over 200 forums on the internet and that post recieved at this point 909,000+ views.

Its like the internet in general has reached a boiling point with regards to fraud and EVERYONE who has ever been ripped off on the internet is taking out their aggression on this one particular idiot.

He even has a wikki page now and they are beginning to use the term "Wenzeled" to describe when a would-be crook is publicly exposed and virtually tarred and feathered

Funny thing is, that if he just hadn't been such an ass, and hadn't refused to see what he had done wrong, none of this would be happening.

Now he's got multiple MySpace tribute sites, slang terms, websites such as wenzeled.com and charleswenzel.info, also shirts, bumper stickers, etc... all associating his family name and his image with criminal activity on the internet.

Asking Price of Gears.....$100
Shipping for Gears.........$ 15
Being immortalized on the internet for being an idiot and an ass, as well as being harrased by anyone who ever got taken by an online crook, all over a measly extra $25........ PRICELESS

It just doesn't pay to be an ass on the internet... even if it's just an internet forum.

I hope in no way you think it's nuts that this baboon be dragged through the fire. I know for a fact that there is at least one person on this board that knows more about my seats than was divulged. As my investigation progresses, it is amazing how things work in these parts.

It's not even about $25! It's about the fact that it was $100 for BRAND-NEW gears. Then he tried to up the price for used gears. The li'l bitch just doesn't get it.

"Munson'd" has now been replaced with "Wenzel'd."
