Default Help installing coilovers?

So, I ordered new set of coilovers and a new map sensor for my car, and they're on their way. I'm have C ory install my new clutch soon, but seeing as how being in law school means I have no tools, I was wondering if one of you awesome people would wanna help me install my coilovers? I could provide some money, perhaps beer, etc.

Or if we wanted to get a small DIY day goin if others have work they want to do, I could set that up at my folks place just north of Richmond

really looking to get all of this done by the May 30th meet if possible!

Thanks in advance!

Jared

I'd be down to host a DIY next Saturday, assuming that someone can show up with the tools and know-how to help me get the coilovers installed

Are those complete coil overs? Do they have a top hat?
Do you have a compressor?

I have a spring compressor, sockets, and everything else we'd need. I just have to remember to bring it all.

you dont need a spring compressor. just the appropriate size sockets, 2 jacks, jackstands. installing coilovers should be 100x quicker than springs.

That depends on whether or not you have to transfer some of the stock hardware (tophats, spacers, bumpstops, etc.) to the coilovers. The OEM setup has enough preload in the springs that the compressors are a good idea, and make it a lot easier to take apart.

Safety first, kids.
