Help, need things to do in and around Herndon

Thanks all, had a fantastic time!
For the baby, we went to the national zoo, the dc mall and ocean city. For the wife we went shopping and strolling the outlets and georgetown. For me, got to watch the fireworks, air & space museum, and rent the worst car ever created - The Ford Edge. Valet parked the car at the Westin in DC and when we got the car back it had scrapes all along the drivers side. Thank goodness for full coverage!
As we were leaving Dulles for NYC, I really didnt want to leave. Perhaps one day we'll call the mid-a home. Anyways, thanks all!
