Default help please!!!! Va drivers

I went to Fairfax Honda today, and they told me i wont pass inspection because i have cleared headlights with blue bulbs all around. Does anyone know where i can get a state inspection that they will pass me.

This might sound like the obvious, but why not just replace your turn signal/side markers with amber bulbs - get inspected - then if you want, put them back to clear/blue?

Dude, go to Davies Automotive in Sterling, VA. They will pass you. They passed me w/ green reverse lights on my integra when I had it (with cleared taillights) --- I know....RICE right?

west broad honda has passed everything on my previous "rice" cars...

or like TepEvan stated.. just removed the bulbs and replace them when the inspections are done...

Go to Rosenthal Honda in Tysons Corner. Ask for the service advisor Amanda...Blue Team I think. Tell her that your a member of the board and know me. She will hook you up I promise.

Yup. Just soz were clear here...VA inspection issues are not about the replaced diffusers, but rather about not presenting amber at the front of the vehicle. Swapping your blue hypers to stock ambers should work just fine to pass.

If your pickle is that you cannot find stock amber OEM-fitment turnsignal bulbs, try Pep Boys <== this is the only auto parts chain that I've located that offers to stock them (at least around here in Richmond). Should cost you just under $6 for a pair of ambers.

If you have your old stock clear turnsignal bulbs...purchase a Orange Sharpie and literally "paint" the clear bulb orange with the Sharpie. All set

No offense, w1ngman, but I'd much rather go talk to a young lady than sit around painting my bulbs! I vote for m777erlin's suggestion.
