I hope you don't track that S2000. That grill will block about 50% of the airflow through the nose of the car. When you buy these type of screens from racing parts distributors they typically list the airflow and they're surprisingly restrictive. It does look good though.

it's a daily driver and since my stock grill was broken making a new one was a good idea my biggest concern was the giant rocks that could easily pass through the stock unit and damage the radiator and condenser unit.

If I did track it a grill with larger .50 vs .25 openings could be used and an open surface area would go from 51% to about 75% give or take or even a quick release for track days hmmm that's going to require some thought

For track duty I put some 1/4 inch chicken wire about 2 inches in front of the lower half of the radiator for protection from rocks and rubber. Setting it back from the opening allows airflow into the nose to pressurize the inlet area. Because it's so deep in the nose it invisible. I'll have to get a picture of it one of these days.

Hmm..I think I'm going this route instead but I have to figure out how get it in front of the FMIC.

In the end it's what looks and performs best. Every idea is a good idea just depends on the application

Hmm..I think I'm going this route instead but I have to figure out how get it in front of the FMIC.
bring it by one weekend we can always pull it apart and see how it would work
