Default How does this banner look?

OK all-

Because you're all in such need for attention, I am working w/ S TWO K to get a banner made up for us all for display at events. The banner is going to be 6ft x 2ft. Here's one of the mockups I worked on:

Before anyone starts asking why, why why do we have the S2KCA logo? Well, it gives the group identity and frankly, as I will be working to give the organization a more local bent, I think it will benefit us all--member and non-member alike.

Let me know what you think, and by all means, post alternatives that we can use. Just know that time is of the essence.

Hmmm. . .it's nice (kinda). . .

Should'nt you get some approval from the SouthEast Regional Director?

Are you the Vice President yet?

Are the wheels/image cut like that on purpose?

I'm just breaking your chops Gregg. . .it looks good!

IMO, for consistency, we should also incorporate the logo that shows up in the avatar.

And once this is finished I will get the T-shirts ordered too. There is a place here in Reston that can turn them around in a couple of days.

Since the Mid-Atlantic Chapter is part of the Northeast Region...no.

As I said, it's a mockup and I've got a shaky hand! I'm not a graphic artist.

I would be all for that if it weren't for the limitation in number of colors we can use (hence black & red only) and get this done for less than a million bucks.

T-shirts would be coolio!!!!

Looks nice...but you need a color that represents this car best... [here it comes...]

SPA

PS. Pic of car should be a top-down pic too IMO -- this is a ragtop for goodness sake!

Yeah, why is it that Gregg is using HIS car???????????? Just kidding, I know it's just a mockup. Yeah I think we need a **cough**SPA YELLOW**cough**............

It would be great if we could somehow incorporate the Mid-Atlantic avatar into the banner, as RestonS2000 suggested

As previously mentioned....I'm not paying for a 4-color separation on the banner. Since the logo uses red, the car will be red. If the logo used yellow, the car would be yellow.

Basically the text is gonna stay as is. If someone has a better (1-color) shot of the car that will fit in that space, forward it to me. ASAP!

Some thoughts:

1) Since we want to minimize cost - use a black car. Seriously. Maybe use a montage similar to the Fall Colors layout. I'm sure Rick could give you some input on this.
2) There may be an issue with S2KCA regarding their logo - I hope not, but you never know. Although I do recognize why they should be there, they really should be footing some of the bill. I know a number of us have offered to pitch in, but I am more comfortable basing the banner on our particular region, not S2KCA. To be REAL honest, I would much rather see the Mid-Atlantic S2000 Owner portion of the banner to be the most pronounced. We are, after all, representing our region. I would place the S2KCA logo secondarily in relation to it. I don't want this to be unecessarily delayed by working through some S2kCA approval process.
3) I would only have 1 URL on it - two may work if they're smaller.

Most importantly, thank you for taking the time to do it.
