Default HPDE at summit

I know there is a FATT on friday, and I was pissed I cant make it, but I found out there was a HPDE at shenandoah on sat-sun put on by PDA www.pdadrivingschool.com. I have time to be there just on saturday, before I have to leave agian. Wondered if anyone else is coming/wants to come. Its 245 bucks.

3312DC,

Please do not take offense but I have been to a PDA event and I will NEVER track with those people, at least not at Pocono. In one word, MAYHEM. $245 is a little steep IMHO for what may be 4 sessions.

And maybe I'm just spoiled.

well, ill try it out... with my schedule I cant pick and choose when I go to the track. I would much rather be at the FATT tomarrow, but I just cant make it. Personally, I really didnt like Carguys either... but Ill take what I can get.

ya, $245 for one day is pretty steep. Hopefully you can run "the bowl", but most places have not been. I got to run it with NASA and had a great time.

We raced there in May.... i like it...just don't f-u-c-k up or you will go see the body shop. runoff is almost nonexistent!!!

Have fun.

pic is from turn 14 or so..... 2 turns after the bowl.... heading onto the big front straight....

Thanks scot... actually this will be my third time on that track. I asked them, and they will be running the entire course. Im mostly worried about that straight under the bridge... I keep telling myself, "aim for the big tree" (the big tree on the other side of the carasel) a couple cars have gotten unsettled there and found the wall
Are you going to FC? I wouldnt mind rideing with you or vice versa to get a little professional advice.
here a pic of the same corner, with me and another S

I had a fun time at this event, a good amount of track time. I was out there for about 2 hours and 15 mins. I got to meet another S2ker... Keith- although he wasnt on the track and didnt bring his ferrari... All this said I dont think I will go out with PDA agian. I was repremanded for doing a cool down lap... They told me I wasnt paying attention and missed the checker, which isnt true. They were waving the checker one turn from the Pits... no cool down at all. Then they embarrassed me by haveing the event staff yell at me from the other side of the paddock, then another guy came up to me and sternly told me what I did wrong. I had to have a "sit down" with another guy... Not only that, but overall I wasnt treated very well....
Pisses me off when you work your ass off to have a nice car, and you pay 250 bucks to have fun on your day off and you get treated like shit.... I was the customer... didnt feel like it.
Im done venting... On the good side, my new setup on my car is awesome.

I would be pissed too....normally you do get a cool down lap so your rotors don't crack, etc.......
