Thanks for the suggestion. One of the first things on the agenda are Bilsteins/HR's, as they are supposed to be the best combo you can run in Spec E30 class (coilovers are not allowed). I don't think I can run braces - just sways. Spec E30 calls for the car to only use components it came with originally - you can just beef them up

I say paint it in the "crash-dummy" checkered pattern.

I know skid plates are avail OEM from BMW... if that matters.

Yep - probably just fabricate something.

Just got back from DMV, so the car is officially titled in my name and I have plates (going to run the front plate because of the E30 bumper design - then I'm off to buy my first mod: POS badges

Definately look into the engine mods. Fromwhat I understand from my friends currently running SpecE30, they stayed away from the e cars beacause they are underpowered compared to the i cars, and are immediately off to a disadvantage due to the inability to mod them.
