Sorry to hear about your run of luck there. I was hit on Quantico while at a light. $7k in repairs later, I traded the truck in for my S2000. Sometimes good things come from seemingly bad situations. Best of luck going forward.

man, i might have already posted but i just can't stress how sorry I am...I am always scared of trucks around me since I know they could do so much damage to my S...

Please do let me know if you could let me get the windblocker between the hoops if the car gets totalled...been hunting for one for a while...

Good luck with the situation...if its totaled are you getting another S???

Everyone has been tellin me that it will be totaled. I'm sure the insurance company will try to low ball me but I'll just take them to arbitration or whatever that court is. lol.
It was actually quite freaky watching that truck close in on my car like that. I thought his bumper was gonna come through my windshield. It litterally stopped like less than a foot away from my windshield. I was also expecting a big 'ol punch to the face from the airbags but they didn't deploy.
I'll post something up on here if it does end up being totaled. And if that happens, i gotta figure out where to store it to rip the parts off..
And finally... i am thinking that i should not get another S. As much as i love the S, i really don't see the need to have one in the future. Maybe when things financially get straightened out i might try to get another one. But as for now, i really don't plan on it.

Try the view of a MAC dumptruck's bumper, fully loaded fresh from the rock quarry running a red light... broadside into the driver's side. The bumper is at the same height as your head. Things really do go in slow motion. It was... interesting...

Well the adjuster finally got a chance to take a look at my car. Initially he was saying that the repairs would be at a minimum of $8,000 but then he asked me how many miles i had.. Well, my car has 58k miles. So pretty low for an 01. That increased the value of my car by $2,500. Now it's REALLY close to being totaled. Now it's gonna be taken to a shop and torn apart to further analyze the damage. gah... i just want it to be totaled already...

It only has to be damaged over 50% of value to be totaled right?
