Default i have a problem

hey guys i was installing my xbrace and i accidently stripped the thread in the right rear hole. also, the xbrace's holes also dont line up with the holes in the frame. can any one provide some help?

Also, i got my car towed a few nights ago and they ed up my exhaust alittle bit. the left side sticks out like 1cm more than the right side. i looked under the car and i cant seem to figure out what is causing this. i can tell where the tow truck's towing device hit the muffler. how can i go about fixing this.

i dunno wtf to do. any help would be greatly appreciated. maybe some one can come over and help or maybe i can get a bay at a car dealer ship to fix this problem.

thanks!

That sucks man!

I just installed a Comptech intake and the box didn't quite go in as expected - I've ground down my hood rod to the metal, but it still doesn't fit perfectly where it's supposed to. The box was a beatch to get in as well.

For the exhaust, check the tips - if it's stock, the tips have a screw that holds them to the muffler - if one came loose it might have gotten stuck in an 'out' position....

Good luck!

Do you have warranty? Try to see if the dealer can help you out.

You can get a helicoil kit to repair the stripped out hole. This requires drilling out the existing hole, then tapping it and inserting the thread kit with a special tool.

A good body shop should be able to help you with this. I would leave this to a professional.

As far as the exhaust you can try bending the hangers a little to line it up. I had to bend them big tim to get my Fujitsibo exhaust straight

I am pretty sure the warranty does not cover stripped out bolt holes or tow damaged exhaust systems?

I'm more curious as to why you had to be towed.

- I checked the tips. i took them off and reinstalled them. that wasnt the problem. i geuss i have to bend my hangers.
-does anyone know a good shop in the area to get the hole fixed? im in vienna (fairfax county)
-they lifted up the rear wheels to tow it bc i was parked front in. i dont think there is anything wrong with the diff... i hope.
-i have no clue how the hell i stripped the hole. i didnt even use much force. i geuss i dont know my own strength
-why did my car get towed? well, my friend just moved into his new aprtment and his lease on his old apartment isnt up yet, so we decided to go kill the keg there. his apartment complex doesnt have much parking. so we parked in the Silver diner parking lot in fair oaks. we always parked there overnight and have never been towed. we parked in spots that were NOT marked for silver diner patrons only. they ended up towin 4 cars, mine and my friends'. needless to say that was a huge huge buzz kill and ruined the night.

thanks for the replies guys.!
