I'm pretty sure (or at least hope) they're not using the POP mode on the newer radar guns (such as the MPH Bee III). They may be using the new guns, but there are HUGE technical problems with the POP mode that throw its results off significantly. There's a technical explanation on Valentine1's site regarding the fact that the POP happens too fast for the oscillator to go from off to on and stabilize the requency that its running at for an accurate reading.

This is even an excerpt from the BEE III's manual (which I hope and assume the law enforcement officials are reading, even though this note is apparently "small print"):

"A note of caution: Information derived during the POP burst is non-evidential

I have a court date of June 1 in Abingdon, VA. Supposedly clocked at 93 in a 65. HELP!

My headlights were on and seatbelts securely fastened. I even had two hands on the wheel at that time.

Okay. I might be able to get it done Saturday... but can't tomorrow.

First reckless ever. I have other speeding tickets. Before the last two years, I can't remember when the last ticket was(I'm 37).
