ITR Expo opened up!
Hey - the guys over at ITRCA.com have opened the ITR Expo up to other cars, not a bad deal at all! 295 for 2 days at beaver run. I've spoke with the even coordinator and he said S2000's will be allowed to run with stock rollover protection as long as they're running street tires. Thought i'd pass the word on to anyone looking to get some track time in
What does "2 days" translate to track-time-wise
. I could be interested
. I think I checked the website...but couldn't really get an idea of what exactly my $300 gets me. Some of the writing would lead me to believe this could be wheel-to-wheel. Umm...not sure I want a young'un in a just-dropped Integra pressing into a turn right next to me.
But again, that said, I'd be interested for sure. Beaver run looks like a nice track

it usually works out to about 4-5 20-30 minute sessions a day, it may not sound like much, but believe me, by the end of the first day you'll be exhausted. The way the grouping works is novice group (and intermediate too i believe) passing only on the straights, and only with a point by. Each car will have an instructor with them so you don't have to worry about people getting too full of themselves. An AWESOME way to get to learn the limits of your car.
I'd reccomend a good set of track pads (Cobalt GT-Sports should be just about right), and some ATE superblue fluid for this, because stock pads, or even pads like axis ultimates up front may tend to glaze and your stock fluid will most definitely boil.
