guys, im not sure if you heard of the "jena 6" but it is pretty much racism at its finest. 6 black students are facing possible long term jail time on ridiculous charges. one of them, 16 years old, is already sentenced to 22 years in prison. he was tried by a white jury and a white judge.

And it's amazing how the news hasn't picked it up at all and how most of white america hasn't heard of it... I didn't hear about it until Bill Maher brought it up with his guests Dr. Cornell West and Mos Def.

It definitely needs more attention.

Thats crazy. The sad thing is this is taught from childhood. My 5 year old daughter doesn't even know what color she is. All she says is I look like you daddy.

 

that's utterly disgusting.

 

I hope when I have kids i raise them the same way.... how my parents raised me!!!!!!!!
