Skip - Sorry I'm coming into this so late. Send my best wishes to her. My thoughts go out to your family.

UPDATE:

Janet will not be out of the hospital before Friday. The swelling/pressure around her left eye is decreasing. She will most likely have surgery in about 3-4 weeks on her sinus-something-or-other. The headache is still persistent, however, pain meds are beginning to have a greater effect on the intensity.

We are soooo very thankful that the ailment was not of our worst fears. She wanted me to specifically add her thanks for the posts/concerns/prayers. She believes she will be in good health in time for FC '03! I'm happy, but will feel better once she is home and on the mend! Don't tell her, but I do miss her!

Sorry to jump in so late, Skip; don't get to hang out in Mid-A that much. I'm sure this is really hard on you too. Hang in there, and try to take care of yourself, so you don't get run down and sick as well.

Ron and I have you both in our thoughts and prayers. I hope she's feeling much better real soon. Any woman who agreed to spend her birthday on the OBX run is an ACE in my book!

SHE'S HOME!!!

Not 100% obviously, but home nonetheless! Not really sure she was ever 100%

Continue steroids/antibiotics. Sinus surgery in about 6 weeks. She'll be hairy and have a deeper voice at Fall Colors, but don't be put off by that!

Skip, first time on s2ki.com for a while (my power is really back on now) and I just read this. I hope all is OK. Tami and I are praying for Janet.

Take Care,

Kevin
