Hi Skip and Janet. So sorry to hear about the medical trouble but glad to hear it's getting better. Sorry I didn't see this sooner but work has been insane. Best wishes to you both and I hope that soon all is back to normal with you guys. (as normal as that can be I guess )

Phil.

Jackie once had "facial cellulodis" and was, in her words, "the freak of the week" in the hospital ; her whole face blew up like a balloon -- and she was on heavy antibiotics for a while . If the infection had spread it would have hit her brain ... we were lucky that time and another time when she had pneumonia and again was in the hospital for a week (she was told that if she had the same strain about five years earlier - OR had waited another day - she would not have made it)...

So I have been there -- and you just have to keep on rolling and keep the positive thoughts coming .

Have a nice weekend ... we are having lobsters (five) for dinner !!!

I've had some pretty serious headaches before and you may already know this but I thought I'd share anyway:

If the pain gets unbearable take a shower (with the water as hot as you can stand it) in the complete dark. It always helps me at least a little.
