Default Kumho Ecsta ASX

I just picked up some A/S tires for my AP2 wheels. I went with Kumho Ecsta ASX's. I'm sure they aren't as nice as my Bridgestone RE960AS's that I had on my AP1 wheels but they're a bargain! They were $56/ea for the fronts and $107/ea for the rears at Tire Rack. (Less than half the price the Bridgestone's!)

Does anyone have any experience with these? If you're in the market for 17" all seasons this looks like a great value to me. I'll post up my impressions after they're delivered and mounted.

never had these but drove a prelude that had them and they were ok. Expect some sloppiness coming out of corners and don't expect to have the dry grip of a good summer tire and you'll like them. They do ok in the wet.

I've autocrossed a few cooper S' on them and found them to do quite well,,,for a street tire. I'd say they make a good A/S. Good choice. Far better than the AST.

Yep, good tire. They are OE on the Mazda 3's and hold up and perform well
