Given the propensity of my hands to perspire in the summer (no idea why, maybe I'm a neanderthal - grin) or for my current billet shift knob to be ridiculously cold in the winter, I'd like to replace it with a nice black leather, contoured knob with 6-speed shift pattern on top.

Anybody know where I could find such a knob? My prelimary feeble searches have produced nothing.

Matt

[EDIT] I'm looking for an all leather knob, not the stock leather band configuration.

How about just buying the leather shift knob cover from Rick's?

I don't see anything on ricks2k.com. Does he currently sell a shift knob cover?

\"Knob Socks\"

For some items on his site, you've gotta dig a little bit

I agree with you on the cheesy part Matt, but hey $19. There are plenty of different shift knobs out there - I'm sure you will find something.

Keep in mind that you can have a machine shop make a hole deeper so it will sit shorter - if you find one that may be a little too tall for the S.

BTW - if you are just trying to get rid of the cold and hot feel, take a look at the Spoon Titanium Knob. Perspiration could be an issue still, but this is the knob I have and temperature issues are no longer a problem.

Hmmmmm

All leather with a 6-speed pattern?

That's a tough one. Most of the aftermarket companies don't put the shift patterns on the knob unless the knob is made for a specific application.

I can't think of a stock Honda leather knob that has the pattern either.

What do you think about a Momo leather knob with a console-mounted pattern from an NSX?

These aren't quite all-leather, but maybe you can consider them. Plus, they're Honda

RSX:

TSX (looks like the leather S2000 ones, but with a red pattern):

I just think they look cool...
