How about them boys from West "By God" Virginia?? After a slow start of 1-4, they have rallied to 6-4. After sound beatings of V-Tech and Pitt, we have found ourselves tied for first in the Big East! Now we just need to close out with Syracuse and Temple and hope that somehow Pitt will knock off the Canes.

My cousin, FS Brian King #11, is 5th in nation on passes defended and 13th in the nation on interceptions. If all goes well, we'll be seeing him on Sundays next fall!

i like west va.. my fav teams from the "old" big east were wvu and syracuse. wvu actually had some loyalty and stood by us when all other B.E. teams turned against us. I wish you guys would come along to the ACC too. or maybe the Big 10 will take you.. that would be awesome.

and I think it is so cool that brian king is your cousin. he is very talented.

I was pretty bitter about the whole Big East/ACC thing but it won't really affect us since this is Brian's senior season. I will, however, try to keep up with the Mountaineers after he leaves. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to a game or two each season in the future (I always enjoy watching them beat Tech!). I asked him what everyone thought about the "Traitors" leaving the Big East and apparently WVU would have left also in a heartbeat if they were invited. Too much $$ to turn down in big business D-1 college football. I guess the upside to this whole thing is that the Big East should be the best basketball conference in the country with it's latest additions (I think DePaul, Cincinnati, Marquette, Louisville, and South Florida). The only problem with that is I LOVE FOOTBALL!
