Default Local geared ap1s!

I'm getting the itch for the next step for the s2k. I want to find some local ap1 owners running n/a with 4.44s or 4.57s that would be willing to give me a ride along to get a feel for the gears. I'm willing to come to you! Shoot me some pms or leave something here.

I'm geared with 4.77's. Car will be down for a few more weeks for brake work and Spring maintenance but I work in the Columbia area. You could meet me up there one day.

I could definitely take you up on this. Columbia isn't much of a drive at all from down here. Keep me updated.

I hear ya. I've pretty much done all the research I can do on the forum. My only concern is long highway drives but the most I typically drive on the highway is about maybe 10-15 miles back and forth a few days a week and the occasional trip to ocean city a few times a year.

When I bought my car it came with some busted 4.77s that I didn't know about till I cracked it open. In my personal DD experience, the car revs about 1k higher than normal, but the gas mileage doesn't differ too much but depends on your driving habits. I've driven the car to NC and back in 1 day with busted 4.77s and probably a few beach trips and I got no complaints. I hope my 2 cents shed some light.

Bumping this. I'm still in the market for gears but i'm really just interested in 4.44s or 4.57s now as i've edited in the first post. Anybody willing to give me a good ride along to get a feel for them, post up or shoot me a pm! I'll come to you!

Just realized I pretty much copied my first post without even realizing it.

Sorry, man. Totally forgot with the wedding and honeymoon and what not. I have to swap to normal street pads and then I can drive the S to work again. It's just too obnoxious in stop and go on the Carbotechs.
