reminds me of a day last week when I took my daughter out (she's 18) to teach her how to drive the S -- she's never driven a car with a manual transmission. We went to the parking lot of a mostly abandoned shopping center to practice and a guy (a real doll of a hunky dude, I might add) came through the lot and as he got near my daughter who was cruzn along through the parking lot at a cool 5-10 mph, he floored it, his 10 yr old toyota belching blue smoke, and roared past. We cracked up and laughed so hard our sides were aching. His other car is probably a really hot metro.
