Sorry for the new post, but this didn't have an obvious home...

I'm taking my S2K down to Florida in about two weeks to have the guys at Speedcraft install their turbo kit.

The kit will run 6psi on pump gas, but to run 8psi, I need race gas. I've not a clue where to buy the stuff. I live in Alexandria. Any suggestions?

There is a Sunoco in Manassas (right on Sudley off the 66 exit) that has high octane......I don't think it was above 100 though.

 

An hour out of NOVA at Summit Point you can pick up 102 (unleaded) and 104 (leaded) octane gas at the pumps in the pits. They sell it to anyone, sorry I couldn't help more, I'm in Richmond and I know of a few more places down here. Just look in or near a race track.
I usually run 104 in my racebike, it's about $4.50 to $5 a gallon.

Thanks. Just knowing that Sunoco carries higher octane gas in one location might be enough information for me to identify another station a bit closer to home (close-in Alexandria, about two miles from National Airport). In any case, I appreciate the help.

 

For what's it's worth, you can buy race gas at three places in NoVa/close-in Maryland that I found:

1. Speed Unlimited, Morningside, Maryland (near Andrews) (301) 420-2727
2. C&C Auto Performance, Manassas, Virginia (703) 631-1265
3. Calhoun Auto, Duke Street, Alexandria, Virginia (703) 549-4330
