Default Lost the S2k last week

Very sad to say that after about 3 years of ownership, I had an accident with my S2000. Conditions were pretty poor and in hindsight I should have worked from home. I waited an hour after my normal departure time thinking the roads would be pretty clear considering people on their normal commute would have been at it for an hour or so. Long story short, under acceleration to change lanes across an icy bridge, the back end came out and the rest is history. Caught the guardrail at the front and rear at about 40mph. The car held up well and I walked away without a scratch obviously. The status of the car is still unknown; I should have a final decision on Monday.

Do you guys think they'll total it?

So sorry to hear about this Simplegreen, I'm glad you're alright. You'll live to drive another S2000. And yeah, being an AP1, it's probably gone. 7k in damage is seemingly enough to total the AP1.

Fixable, buy it from the Ins company if they total it.

My wife caught a pic of your car on the wrecker.

Sorry to hear this...always sad to lose one. But if you are like many others, you will get another. Good luck!

Sorry to see this Mo. While the damage doesn't look too bad, insurance will most likely total the car. It's totally up to you whether you want to buy it back or not. Good luck man.

Sorry man that's totaled. I had an AP1 previously and had the same exact thing happen to me, but coming home from work rather than heading too it.

I had damage on every panel of the passenger side, and busted up the rear suspension just like yours. They totaled mine without hesitation.

Start looking for a replacement now. I had 2 weeks with a rental, which was barely enough time to find a good replacement at my price point.
