Not yet Tony....but it is definitely one of the items they're working on resolving. Until then...you have a couple choices. You took the one choice (remove the forums you're interested in from mys2k). But to me, that's a sucky solution because I *want* to re-develop v4 as much as possible to be similar to how I 'liked' this site before. Option 2?...live with the bombardment for the time-being. Also sucky solution...but again, this issue should be temporary. For myself, I've opted to develop mys2k to be as similar to my old usercp feel as possible. As for e-mail bombardments...I just travel over to my e-mail addy now and again and do some quick "select/deletes" and all is well.
or you could use option 3, which isnt AS annoying, i am using outlook for my email, and i just set up a message rule to automatically delete any email with the title containing 'forum subscription new topic notification" this works, but the only problem is i cant stand having unread emails in my deleted folder (i hate seeing that little blue number next to any folder)

You should be able to make the rule either Mark the message as read or clear the message flag or ignore the thread.

I am out of the lab and back in the hospital.....getting up at 3:30 and not getting home till 7:30 and still have to read about patients. In short, no time.

The site is not easily navigated for us more challenged folks. Commitments this summer seemed to have triple from last years. The newness of the car is wearing off.

I mainly don't check the board nearly as much 'cause I don't like the change to the site. Almost seems too clinical; sterile. I also miss some of the "older" members(refers to s2ki age as Dave put it). Also, the area's ownership has increased quite a bit. When that happens, you lose some of the intimacy of a smaller group.

Dude, I agree with the assessment, but I actually blame YOU.

You were the post whore of the Mid-A... North and South...you slowed down, you stopped causing chaos and havoc on this thread. I mean, what the fcuk Alex, you need to get your Sheeooottt together and start posting controversial things, start teasing people like no one else, keep interesting conversation flowing, plan interesting things to do... I am serious too, GET TO FCUKING WORK ON POSTING...

Damn, what kind of leader are you? Get to work dude.

I guess that explains everything

I like this new system. But just like with anything that is new to your enviornment, there is going to be a learning curve.

I appreciate all of the hard work that these individuals are doing in their spare time.

Drive on IT wizzards! I know that I, like FF2Skip, would have a difficult time in doing so

My $.02

Activity is down all over the board and I agree with Skip's comments. The new site just takes a little getting used to, but its nice and as we learn more about some of its features and all the little kinks get ironed out, we'll like it as well as the other one. It is moving faster now and most of the features we all liked are back.
