Default Mid-A Guys and Gals... Need advice

Hi all

Im sad to say that Im seriously thinking on selling my baby. To make the long story short, last tuesday the political party back home lost again and my Dad has been thru hell this last 4 years. I want him to retired and I want to pay his debts so he can get the hell out of where he is. I prefer giving him what I have instead of seen him suffer.
My question is, will it be better for me to part out the car and sell it stock or try to sell the car as a whole. Im not trying to make money but i dont want to loose either. I just want to have the montly payment available. I know a couple of people have sell their modified cars and I want to hear inputs.

Thanks all

EY

Always part it out unless you're in a hurry and don't need to extract as much $$$ out of your car. What y'all don't see is a reinforced Comptech diff that just went in!

I think it might be easier to part out what you can then sell it. I think most people who are in the market for a used car would be more hesitant to buy a car that is modded versus the same car that is stock.

Good luck.

Gosh...I'm really sorry to hear this. But you do have your priorities in order. Family comes first. Good luck on getting the most for your baby. I know you really hate to sell...

Your car looks beautiful. Sorry to hear that you have to sell it. I do have to agree with everyone else. People seem to get more for their parts than for the modded car, but it's a time consuming process.

Part it out that way you will have some money early on if you need to send some to your Father. Unfortunately the market for Used S2000's seems pretty weak right now.

i say part it out. i would personally never buy a modded car for 2 reasons.
1. there is such a SLIM chance that it would be modded EXACTLY the way i wanted.
and
2. a lot of people look at a modded car, and might not "trust" it. if a lot of work has been put into changing parts of the car and "modding" stuff, then how reliable is the car itself.

i know that most people see an intake as a harmless mod, but there are still people out there that would argue that it would decrease the life of the vehicle. and this goes for many other parts as well.
