Default Mid-A Skydiving

Crazy folks with a Death Wish only Please

We're starting to get some interest in Skydiving throughout the Mid-A. Since I'm going to be jumping almost every other week until I get my license I'm offering up this thread for folks who want to go with me. This will also serve as motivation for those who want to work toward their license as well

Please feel free to post pictures here too. Please feel free to use this thread to work on other jumps too - not just mine or Suffolk Skydive's.

Our first Skydive meet was great - everyone loved it and wants to go again. The toughest part about skydiving (for a beginner) is getting back out there within a 30 day period for the discounts and not having to repeat classes.

I will try to keep this thread updated with my next jump dates.

Future Jump Dates @ Suffolk Skydive
Anyone who wants to tag along can post up or PM me, I'll put you on this list under whichever dates you can go. If you want to come with me, please check out http://skydivesuffolk.com/ for details (or ask here) and call them with a deposit.

Here is the original thread from the May 15th Jump: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=277706

Nandska, Tesseract, and a few friends joined us. What was looking like a nasty day full of storms stayed clear all the way till about 4:30 PM when we were driving home

And here are some of the pictures:

    Me

    Sassy Girl

The Tandems - Dee, Branden (tesseract), Michelle, Tom (Nandska), and Dionne

Dionne coming in for a landing (gotta hold your feet up with tandem jumps so the instructor doesn't trip on you)

Branden on approach (around 200 ft)

    Tom at about 30 ft

Don't know who of the tandem crew this is, but this is around 2,500 to 3,000 feet in the "play area" doing 360's and what not!

    More pictures here: http://poindexter.smugmug.com/gallery/538172/1

I didn't take these photos - I was behind the video camera which will be online at a later time......gotta splice in the video from the freefall and coming under canopy.

that would of been me and don. The g's I felt was great. I can probably do the june 11/12 jump. I would go sooner, but I have to get new rears for the car. Hydroplaning on the way home was not fun.

I think we'll have another good sized group for June 11/12th. Dionne is going back then and we'll be bringing a few more friends.

Tom - try to work it out for those dates because the class is more fun with people you know.

Yeah. Decided to stop a couple of times until the rain calmed down. Plus, haven't aligned my car, so I'm still riding on the insides of the tires from the camber.

    Getting new rears on Friday.
