If you're only considering those 2 cars, then go with the TSX.

But I also drove a Mazdaspeed Mazda6 and was impressed.

Thanks everyone for your input

Looks like the TSX is a good choice
There is no jdm in the TSX right??

If there are any owners out there is the handling decent?
cause im an autocross fanatic and i want something that
is still going to be fun to drive so i'm not too depressed when
i get rid of the S
i'm also a big fan of old school vtec
i always loved the surge of vtec in the older hondas
so how does ivtec compare? will it be dissapointing?
or do i have to drive one for myself??
i understand by using a VAFC i can change the VTEC point
with iVTEC motors

Thanks
-Rick
TSX is 100% made in Japan, the TSX is called the "Accord" in Japan. Our made in the USA USDM Accord is called the Inspire in Japan.

You'll be disappointed in the iVtec, it gives low end torque but has minimal kick at the VTEC crossover, its much more linear. The suspension is good but I'd suggest the A-spec kit, its a direct swap and lowers 0.5in" but retains a near stock ride and much flatter cornering.

The TSX has DBW, and so far it hasn't been fully cracked by Hondata, so there is only a reflash, no K-pro available. You're best off w/ the Hondata reflash which adds 30hp mid-range torque and lowers the iVtec crossover 1000rpm.

You can definitely find a low-mileage used WRX for around or under 20k. New ones are only in the low 20's. BUT... mileage is the suck. If you like to drive spirited, the turbo will absolutely kill your mileage. And I'm sure it doesn't feel nearly as put-together as the TSX.

I'm pretty sure they're both narrow cars, but you CAN get the WRX in a wagon for a little more space. The back seats are a little on the tight side. There are a ton of mods available, if you want that, tho

Maybe a used Legacy GT or Legacy GT Wagon? The most recent body style is actually kinda nice.

hey ricky, sad to hear you'll be having to get rid of the S, but a baby will be great i would definitley go with the tsx, this would probably be my choice if i had to get a 4 door and to stick with a honda/acura.

hey, will you be coming out tomorrow night. i know last week i was out in a hurry, maybe we can have a little more time to hang.

I second the RL. I see 1999-2002 RLs for 16-22K and they are really nice rides. My buddy has a 99 RL with well over 100K miles. No problems at all and heated seats, HIDs, runs like new and very quiet..
