One of my buddies dropped mine and tore the boot, I'm about to go to autozone in a few weeks and order a new drivers side axle, $750 for an axle just made me shit my pants

Are you walking straight into a dealer and getting that $750 price?

You need to stick to places like Majestic Honda online and RCHondaparts. They have them listed at $471.

I love Majestic, but right before pushing the buy button, I called to and they are on back order indefinitely.
So, I started calling around to different local dealerships, and they all said that they are on back order indefinitely, only way is a dealership had one laying around.
Found a dealership in CA that had it, and they wanted 600 plus 150 to ship overnight.

UPDATE: PICS:

Red circles, are all that hold the hub together as of now.

I still have heard of no real issues with autozone axles. My buddy's GSR is running them making 600 something WHP and he's snapped like two in a few years, only at the track. Then he just gets a replacement. You should really look into them.

I got my autozone branded axle running for 25k without issues. Too much fanboism out there with these parts.
