Default Need Advice...

I have the infamous wear hole on the softtop of my 01. I bought the car a year ago and I purchased the Hondacare warranty.

How likely is it that I can get the top goodwilled by Honda? I was thinking of taking it by Criswell to have it looked at, but it also has a cracked back window which may not help my case.

I do have a lead on a complete top assembly from an '03, so I'm wondering if I should take time off of work and drive to the dealer to see if they'll replace it, or just go get the assembly and replace the top now since the weather will be pretty crappy this week. I mean I'd rather not spend the extra money, but if my chances are pretty slim, I'd rather not wait.

Oh, I forgot... it's a 2001 with 33,000 miles on it.

Don't plan on Honda covering it. They didn't cover mine or many other members on here.

It certainly doesn't hurt to ask though. They ended up covering my 2000 completely - parts AND labor - about a year and a half ago, with about 80k miles.
