Why are you not buying Brians FZ6?
He found out that KBB said it was overpriced....

If you are that uncomfortable riding it by yourself, I can help you with this as well. I used to have a FZ6, great bike!

I live in 21227. You pick me up on your way North, we go to Elkton, I ride the bike back to Gaithersburg, you drop me back in 21227.

Let me know.

Thanks a lot for your offers dollar and gfacter and O-turn!
I just might take you up on your offer

But besides riding it back, does anyone know of a way to transport a bike? Does U-haul have anything maybe that any of you guys used before?

Riding it is your cheapest/easiest bet rather than loading it in a truck and all.

Have you ridden the bike?

You should have someone check it out for you.

Is it tagged and insured?

I checked the bike out the other day...it's pretty much brand new, it has 600 miles on it. I have not ridden it; I probably should before I do the transaction.

The owner promised to get it inspected and have the title paid off and ready. And yes, it had tags on it when I saw the bike.

Is it true btw that there is two parts to the motorcycle title that I should recieve?

I say ride it too.. you prob have a better chance effing it up trying to transport it then riding it home.. I would just have brian (oturn) follow you just so you feel face and relaxed.. and for a second set of eye to be with you

That is my plan so far. Ride it back and have a friend of mine follow me.
I'm just weighting other options.

I did find out that 5 X 9 ramp trailer from U-haul is 82$ for 2 days.
I think it's not bad. The only problem is that I need to find someone with the truck/car that has a tow hitch, and is willing to help me out.

Just man up and ride it. It's just the highway right?
