With any of those sizes, I would definitely stay above a +40 on the offset. The +20-30's are just plain stupid, and may look a bit goofy.

I have 17x9 +44 work emotions in the back with UK spec alignment and still rub.

You need to roll the rear quarter panels and relocate the bumper tab if you haven't already. I also rubbed with 17x9 +44's, but it all went away after doing that.
