Need scratched wheel fixed in VA
Hello all,
I was just wondering if anyone could recommend a shop in the DC area where I could get a scratched wheel fixed.
Today, coming back into the parking garage from lunch, there was a space available right up front near the door. Usually, I am very selective about my parking spaces, preferring to park on the end of an aisle with plenty of space between me and the car next to me. But, today, I was with a co-worker, and I was reluctant to have her think that I am a complete freak by parking in the farthest space possible. So, I took the closer space next to a curb. Unfortunately, while still trying to park as far away from the Silverado next to me as possible, I grazed the curb with my right rear wheel. So, now I have about a 3 inch scratch, or scuff, running along the outside lip of my wheel where it meets the tire.
I was hoping that I could take it to a shop to get it polished so that it would look somewhat better, even though it will still be a little flatter than the rest of the lip. So, anyone have any thoughts? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks, in advance.

If you can't find a shop near you, have it sent to Ye Olde Wheel Shop on Route 1 in Maryland - they do a fantastic job on past wheels of mine and friends. Can't find their number, but I'm sure they are in the yellow pages.
good luck...
