I had a great time, thanks to skip and everyone else who put on the event. I can't wait for the next one (hopefully in the dry).

Jim,

Was that you turning on 340? I was leading Pete and Barrie back towards Charles Town?

Possibly, I ended up waiting for them to clear the accident, then we ate at McD's

Wasnt you, we went left out of SP back to Rt 7, then to 340 back to Charles Town, it was quite a Detour.

I saw a black S2000 near 7 on 340, must have just been a random sighting

According to Google, the detour route is about 25 miles. The strait shot route is about 10.

Welcome to WV.

It looks like Mani's new nickname in the making, "Seven Twenty," was caught on film. I had a moment at the same place in the instructor session. I clipped the apex under the bridge like normal, but I shouldn't have because of the river of water flowing around the apex curbing. It kicked the tail out unexpectedly but luckily I was able to catch it. I have it on video and I'll post it to youtube later today.

Mani and the Miata were lucky to avoid the concrete canyon under the bridge because those were very high speed spins.

There's a lot of learning that goes on during a wet HPDE, much of it subconciously.

I think I enjoyed yesterday more than any track day I've ever done. Bad weather + good people = lots of fun.

Rob
