From a fellow GPW owner, I think it looks dope! I may be biased because I rock some Volks in Titanium Gunmetal, so its a very similar color scheme at first glance... LOL But overall though, it works with the car

I actually prefer the white windshield surround. It looks like a cool, custom touch.

Hey S2Kitt....I think it rocks "old school" style. I've been debating on powder-coating my wheels either black or gunmetal. I have a BB, and have been slowly been progressing towards blacking it out.

Like the hood also!! Also agree the tape would add to the look.

Looks good!!

Can blow up about it.. car still looks good I just like your old setup better.. some gunmetal wheels would pick it back up a notch or 2

I would agree powdercoating is the way to go. I have painted mine, but they are not perfect and I struggled with it (of course, was really my first time painting anything). S2Kitt, what paint did you use?

I used a DupliColor wheel paint. It came out ok. Jury is still out on the durability of the finish.

just Scotch brite padded an ACE Premium Enamel (Flat Black)

heres a lil trick: if you dont wana tape off the tires or spend the money on taking the tires off an re-mounting them

Apply tire shine to your tires before hand an make sure your keep it off the rims.
Spray away, then all the shit on the tires should wipe off with a rag an a lil elbow grease.
