What's the recommended break-in? 600 miles? Under what RPM? Under 75mph?

Thanks,

Tim

Under 6K rpms for the first 600 mi.
Should be in your User's Manual.

It's in the owner's manual. It's definitely 600 miles and no VTEC.

Tim, welcome to the board and you guys got a great car!

See this thread https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...&threadid=41967 for us S2K folks heading out to Summit Point for high performance driver educational events. Its $175 dollars, and this is what I recommend to spend on this car first.

Oh and wait for the official mileage for the first oil change. Honda uses a special oil to help the engine break in properly.

Thanks. I've been to Summit 7 times in my 99 Impreza RS, and I KNOW what you mean about it really helping learn what the car can do. I am TRYING to talk Melissa into taking a class, but she's too scared, which is a sin if you own this car......so I guess I'LL just have to take the S2K to the track. Don't worry....if we keep the car, you'll see me there.
