Can't cancel insurance without turning in plates....alot of sellers wont let you drive on their tags, just bum some from a friend

 

I bought two caers from out of state. Both were historic. This is important b/c historic tagged cars do not need MD inspection (Or emissions). So I had him send me the title in the mail, I took it to the MVA and got regular tags. Flew up and picked the car up and drove home. '

So all you have to do is convince the MVA your car is older than 1976.
