I have the same Alpine HU, and I actually shipped my "wires" for the HU to Lucid and he welded/sodered (spelling?) it together with the SWI-X unit for a small fee along with the rear speakers, wires, panel, etc.

This may be another option. I forget how much he charges, but after he fixed the wires to the SWI-X, I installed everything myself, and it was an easy install. Why not give him a call or pm him.

ok, one more question, quite possibly the dumbest one yet...

but is there a switch for the power locks anywhere? or just the key fob?
